今年二月，‘返校 - Detention’及‘还愿 - Devotion’两款作品，同时成为哈佛大学
燕京图书馆的馆藏内容之一。这份殊荣不仅属于团队，也属于一直以来支持我们的玩家朋
友们，在此特别感谢郑炯文馆长、王德威教授、马小鹤主任及陈也东先生的邀请与协助。
哈佛大学燕京图书馆建于1928年，是哈佛大学图书馆专门用于收藏与东亚相关文献的场所
，该馆有中文、日文、西方语文、韩文、越南文、藏文、满文和蒙古文藏书总计超过百万
卷，是西方世界最大的东亚研究图书馆。离开学校多年，只懂埋头开发的我们，从来没有
想过有这么一天，自己创作的游戏能在哈佛大学的图书馆里被看见，被体验。除了感到无
比荣幸，也是一个机会，让我们再次沉淀，重新思考游戏所拥有的无限可能性。
这一年来，很抱歉让大家担心了。或许有些事情的结果不尽人意，但我们仍在，创作理念
也不曾改变，希望在未来能有更多优秀的作品与大家分享。
最后，由衷感谢所有合作伙伴，以及至今依然相信着赤烛的朋友。今年不容易，但让我们
一起加油。
Hello, we are Red Candle Games.
This February, the Harvard-Yenching Library at Harvard University officially a
dded both of our titles '返校 Detention' and '还愿 Devotion' to its collection
. It is an incredible honour which belongs to not only Red Candle but also our
supporters/players worldwide. Special thank to the invitation from Harvard-Ye
nching Library and the assistance from James Cheng, Prof. David Der-wei Wang,
Xiao-he Ma, and Yedong Chen for making it possible.
Harvard-Yenching Library, formally founded in 1928, is known as the largest Ea
stern Asian library maintained by any American university. As game designers,
never have we thought that our works could one day be added to its prestige co
llection. While we truly appreciate the recognition, we had also taken this op
portunity to rethink the possibilities that our games could achieve.
For the past one year, we are sorry for making our community worried. Although
the current status might not be ideal, we are still here and that nothing has
changed - we are and will always develop games with the same passion.
Last but not the least, we’d like to express our gratitude toward our partner
s, friends and families, especially a big thank you to all fans who still beli
eve in Red Candle Games. It’s a tough year for many of us, but we will keep g
oing, and hopefully in the future we could share more works with you all.
