教宗：“放任的资本主义是万恶渊薮” 网民疯传

昨日，脸书盛传一张教宗方济各（Pope Francis） 反对资本主义的图片，方济各的照片
下方写说放任的资本主义是“万恶渊薮”（the dung of the devil），短短十个小时内
已超过2万多人分享。其实，这段话是来自上周教宗的拉丁美洲访问行程中，7月9日于玻
利维亚圣克鲁斯市（Santa Cruz）发表的最为激情的一场演说。
根据CNN报导，方济各在这场全场一个小时的演说中，呼吁受到压迫的各国民众改变全球
经济秩序，并谴责施行撙节计画的相关机构是“新殖民主义”。方济各说，他支持弱势
族群在居住、土地与劳动等三项“神圣权利”。他谴责盲目追逐利益的现有体系，要人
们“不要害怕说出来：我们要改变，真正的改变，结构性的改变”，认为“这套体系已
经令人忍无可忍”。
方济各指出资本主义无限追逐金钱是“罪恶的渊薮”，其实是引用了西元4世纪该撒利亚
的主教巴西流（Basil of Caesarea）的话。方济各说：“一旦资本成为偶像并主导人们
的选择，一旦对金钱的贪婪主宰整个社会经济体系，它将败坏这个社会，谴责并奴役所
有男人女人，摧毁人类的博爱精神，让人彼此对抗彼此。我们能清楚看到，它威胁者我
们共同的家园。”
此外，方济各也批评国际货币基金（IMF）等国际机构所执行的开发援助政策。他表示
：“没有强权有权剥夺人们行使完全主权，每当有人这么做，就是新殖民主义的崛起，
这足以严重损害和平与公义。”
这场在第二届全球民众运动组织大会（ II World Meeting of the Popular Movements ）
的演说是方济各2013年就任教宗以来，所发表时间最长、主题最广、最激昂的演说之一。
目前方济各已经结束拉丁美洲的访问行程，回到梵谛冈。

Time, my brothers and sisters, seems to be running out; we are not yet tearing one another apart, but we are tearing apart our common home. Today, the scientific community realizes what the poor have long told us: harm, perhaps irreversible harm, is being done to the ecosystem. The earth, entire peoples and individual persons are being brutally punished. And behind all this pain, death and destruction there is the stench of what Basil of Caesarea called “the dung of the devil”. An unfettered pursuit of
money rules. The service of the common good is left behind. Once capital becomes an idol and guides people’s decisions, once greed for money presides over the entire socioeconomic system, it ruins society, it condemns and enslaves men and women, it destroys human fraternity, it sets people against one another and, as we clearly see, it even puts at risk our common home.
