Diess说，“下一代Golf会是个十项全能的强棒，(有能力扭转改变C级距车的原本样貌)
。
下一代Golf 或许够格再次被冠上"Das Auto"“汽车之道”的称号。”
“[The] next generation of Golf – which we are, let's say, quite advanced
in the work on – will be the versatile car,”
“You might call it once again ‘Das Auto’ because it is such a good package
for a five-seater; it works so well.”
◇导入48V微油电系统
48V微型油电系统将在下一代Golf扮演主要角色。
除了微油电，下一代Golf也会有1.5TSI 汽油以及1.5TDI柴油引擎、Golf GTE油电车。
Diess said: “Mild hybrid systems will play a major role in the next
generation of Golf; that will be the first application.

下一代Golf 外型不会有戏剧性的大改变。
The shape or indeed the exterior of the Golf won't change dramatically
下一代Golf内装大翻新，中控台会有大型触控萤幕，取代掉原本的传统按钮、旋钮。
全车系标配数位液晶仪表板。

The cabin will undergo a more dramatic makeover, with most of the physical
buttons and dials replaced by digital displays. VW’s active info display,
a replacement for the instrument binnacle, will be carried over and
feature across the range, while most of the car’s functions will be controlled
via a large central touchscreen.

下一代Golf要等到2019年9月才会发表，等到台湾引进也要2020年了，
到时候才有机会买到新1.5TSI + 新7速湿式DSG变速箱。
Golf 7.5代还要再战两年多。

48V系统有一个电动机"辅助"行驶 重要是还是有刹车动能回收非插电的油电混合系统的根本意义就是刹车动能回收其次是减少引擎运作的时间(加上怠速) 减少损耗
