请教大家要说聆听一个故事、经验或感受 listen to sth 的用法
I felt my sadness was listened to. （这是我原本的句子）
I felt I was listened to about my sadness. （老师说只能接人，所以改这样）
我查询 Cambridge, Oxford, Collins 字典的例句
listen to sb 绝对正确。
listen to sth 的用法很有趣，好像都是有谈话或声音的事物才行
to the music, the radio, some records, an iPod, the ocean (声音)
to his surmon, to what she said, to a word I've said（谈话）
to the interview with sb on the radio, to a private conversation
to both sides of the argument.
to the bird banging away and the wood chips falling to the ground.
listen to your inner voice 则比较有趣
虽然 inner voice 可以是想法或情绪感受
但直接换成 listen to my story, my sadness, grief, anger, jollity
就不确定是否可行，网络上很多人用，但字典最接近的只有这两句
Oxford living dictionary 收录
people do not watch or listen to any political coverage
Collins 则收录
If the problem persists, have it looked at and listen to your body
但这里的 listen to 就不确定
1. 是 hear 感受的意思，或者
2. listen to the advice, follow instruction 的意思，这就不是我要问的了

listen to加人加物绝对的没问题的～你原本的问题在于“中文转英文”的硬生生翻译We feel your sadness, but not listen to that.

我原本用了三个动词understood and relieved都没这问题是后来修改时用了listen才发生的问题

只能说英语母语者不把 listen 这个动作 和 sadness这个感受放一起吧中文的"倾听"大概可以倾听宇宙万物都没问题

看来是惯用法的问题，谢谢大家的分享，有近一步回应也欢迎看原文教科书也可以listen to story, 但没看到emotion可能可以 listen to sad story, but not listen to sadness
