我认为其实原文已经是原本形态了，因为副词后动词因为是加ing 变成主词。

前面那句主词是省略you, 因为block不会自己initiate erase指令，人才会，正常分词是要主词一致，但是很多native speaker都不会照这个规则写datasheet很常见
