I seldom wish to get away from the crowd since every fun stuff happens there.
Let's put it that way, I find no point in stepping out to "read a book in silence.
" I keep reading blogs late into the night but I don't find any desire to become a silent reader.
I am naturally quite verbal, if not loud.
In fact, I am quite content in a crowd with my own little group, but as soon as I step out of the main path, I am that most peculiar person, the "wandering soul" and totally not at peace with the rest of the world.
Well, one solution is to not go out at all, right? That doesn't work because there's a lot of wonderful stuff out there to be seen and done and sometimes I really want to take my chances.
Lately I have been getting a lot of comfort from this magazine, the Thriving Family.
It's not exactly a how - to guide for raising a family and not the feel - good, personal stuff you'll find in others, but it does give you an insight into your own family, while making it very clear what the family problems are.
It helps you to look at your problems from a different point of view, and understand that what you thought was the problem might actually be a little less annoying.
The downside is that it does keep making these little references to essential oils, acupuncture, and so on, so I keep having to tell myself that I'm not actually doing the wrong things - I am doing what my gut tells me is right.
