Gg说他的朋友根据‘和合本’的译文来解释歌罗西1：15.
这么说吧，基本概念有两个：1）圣经不是中文，英文写的，所以中英文圣经都是‘译本
’。意思就是，会‘错’；2）英文译本因为语言和文化的关系，比中文译本要翻译的‘
准确的多’。
华人基督教真的能够‘读’原文圣经的没几个。能读英文的，应该还是有。以下是从
bible.fhl.net抓出来的7个版本英文译本的翻译：
KJV Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
BBE Who is the image of the unseen God coming into existence before all
living things;
WEB who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
ASV who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
DARBY who is image of the invisible God, firstborn of all creation;
ERV who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
ESV He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
原则上，BBE的译文是最糟糕的。所以，跟和合本的翻译：基督的存有在所有的被造物之
前，一致。但是，其他那些‘主要’的英文译本，基本上都是采取the firstborn of
all/every creation的翻译。中文相应的译文是：所有/每一个被造之物的首生者。
（大家如果有兴趣，可以去bible.fhl.net比较各中文译本的翻译，会很有意思的。）
所以，gg的朋友犯下的错误是：根据错误的译文断定神学/真理。
这种情况在华人基督教非常普遍，大家要小心，谨慎！
