1940年3月，汪伪政府宣布成立。侵华日军在上海大肆搜捕抗日志士，汪伪组建由前国民
党军官毕忠良担任处长的“特别行动处”为虎作伥。一直潜伏在毕忠良身边、代号“麻雀
”的中共党员陈深，与组织暂时失去联系。
置身虎视狼顾的险境中，陈深信仰坚定，冒死营救上线“宰相”及抗日志士。
毕忠良老奸巨猾，虽与救命恩人陈深“情同兄弟”，却对其产生怀疑，设重重陷阱步步紧
逼。
“宰相”牺牲后，陈深终于找到新上线“医生”并受命拿到日军代号为“归零”的作战计
划。
陈深的昔日恋人徐碧城，与另一国军情报人员唐山海假扮夫妻潜伏进特别行动处，在多次
行动给陈深制造麻烦和危机。
智计过人的陈深身处连环杀机之中之中，巧妙利用日本鬼子、汪伪分子等各派势力之间的
微妙缝隙，同时也付出了巨大的代价，最终成功地获取了“归零”计画，挫败日本侵略者
的阴谋。

在非常时期加入共产党地下组织，并受命“转投”汪伪特工机关。
喜欢喝格瓦斯汽水，常去米高梅舞厅跳舞，混迹于欢场，帮汪伪特工头目经营鸦片生意。
无论从哪个角度看，他算是一个混得不错的上海“白相人”，有点儿职位，能呼风唤雨。
但是浮华的背后，他是一名沉默的战士，经历著表面波澜不惊、实则惊心动魄的战斗。
他的身边没有亲人，但他并不孤独。他对党无比忠诚。在深潜的人性中，只有信仰始终如
一。他坚信，人一旦有了高尚的信仰，浮躁的心灵就有了熨帖，人生的奋斗就有了意义。
