My understanding on Chelsea's new sporting director is talks with
Salzburg's sporting director Christoph Freund are already pretty advanced.
Todd Boehly is a big fan of the Red Bull model. He's currently ahead of
Monaco's Paul Mitchell, who really wants the job, too.

Chelsea are in advanced talks with RB Salzburg's Christoph Freund to
become sporting director. Boehly admired RB model: “We've talked about
having a multi-club model. Red Bull have Salzburg and Leipzig in the

PSG's Luis Campos to Stamford Bridge in recruitment roles. CFC new owners
understood to be in talks with Freund on sporting director job. Campos
could be in frame for advisory role as well

My personal view is that if Chelsea go ahead with Freund appointment then
they will still need someone with more experience to come in and
effectively manage Cobham. That is not a data/recruitment job

More on Chelsea's advanced talks with Salzburg's Christoph Freund, as

keen on affiliating Chelsea to feeder clubs. Conversations started with
Freund during early August when enquiring about Benjamin Sesko.
