切尔西在新赛季英超欧联取得了完美的六连胜开局，但依然有蓝军球员开心不起
来，他就是英格兰中后卫卡希尔，因为他在新赛季还没有上过一分钟。


卡希尔沦为切尔西铁打替补
卡希尔于2011/12赛季加盟蓝军，并在随后的2012/13赛季成为球队主力，在切尔
西分别夺得2014/15赛季和2016/17赛季英超冠军时，卡希尔都作为球队绝对主力，分
别出战了36和37轮英超（共38轮），即使在上赛季，卡希尔也为蓝军出战了27场英超
各项比赛一共43场。
但今夏自从萨里上任之后，卡希尔迅速沦为替补，上场次序排在鲁迪格、路易兹
和克里斯坦森之后，成为第四中卫。32岁的卡希尔表示他有时必须做出艰难的选择。
He said: “I've got maximum respect for everybody here at the football
club, for the fans and all the players. But sometimes you have to make
tough decisions to keep your career going forward. 我不想成为出头鸟，但以
现在的事态来看，是的，我也许会在一月寻求离队。”
“我明白足球并不等人，有时你要做出继续前行的决定。我一直渴望出场比赛，

“I spoke to him (Sarri) briefly when he first came, for a very brief
period of time...obviously I think we will speak again soon.”
“A lot of things have been running through my head. I felt we
(England) had such a good time and good experience at the World Cup, I'd
never take that back.”
“The flip side of that is I came back a week before the season
started against three defenders who'd been back plenty of time before me.
That's the reality of it.”
“在新教练执教下，在新的防守方式下，以他现在的理念，我肯定他不会觉得让
我上场是一件感觉舒服的事。因此从我的角度来看，现在不会有争论，这也是我没去

“But at the same time, thinking back to Petr and the moment he was at
the club, I remember when Thibaut (Courtois) came and he found it
difficult to get game time. But he (Cech) was still in that frame of mind
where he knew that he could play week-in, week-out.”
“I feel I'm in a similar situation. And the club rewarded his
professionalism, his attitude to things by letting him go and get
first-team football. I'm sure that'll be fine and we'll speak from now
until Christmas. For me to do this all season (not play) is going to be
very difficult.”
Cahill has won six major trophies in as many years at Chelsea and is
confident he can still perform at the highest level with another top club.
He said: “I'm in great condition, I've not wasted my days, I've not
wasted the time when I haven't been playing. I've been training even
harder, in the gym. I know I can play week-in, week-out, not a problem.
“I'm not in a situation where I'm going to be coming up to 36. I'm in
a situation where if it wasn't to continue here, I'd relish that challenge
to go and play. My relationship with the club's always been great, the
players, the staff. And obviously the most important thing is the club.
“But I have to look at my situation. I have to take charge of my own
future. And if I'm sat doing what I'm doing at this moment, I just hope
that the club will respect that when it comes to the time.”
