除了天主教的<大教理>外,影响天主教最深的无疑是奥古斯丁.以下是奥古斯丁的
相关教训.(由兴趣的可进一步参考橄榄华宣出版的<希腊教父思想中的神化教义>
的附录.)
小弟想进一步了解各位较为详细的看法.

DE CIVITATE DEI, AUGUSTINE OF HIPPO – 奥古斯丁
The grace of God came to you and ‘gave you the power to become the sons of
God’ (John 1:12). Hear the voice of my Father saying, ‘I have said, you are
gods and all of you children of the Most High’ (Ps. 82:6). Since then they
are men, and the sons of men, if they are not the children of the Most High,,
they are lairs, for, ‘all men are lairs’ (Ps. 116:11). If they are the sons
of God, if they have been redeemed by the Saviour’s grace, if purchased with
the precious blood, if born again of water and of the Spirit, if
predestinated to be the inheritance of heave, then indeed they are children
of God. And so thereby are gods. What then would a lie have to do with you?
Fro Adam was a mere man; Christ, man and God; God, the Creator of all
creation. Adam a mere man, the man Christ, the mediator with God, the only
Son of the Father, the God-man. You, O man, are far from God, and God is far
above man; between them the God man placed himself. Acknowleddge Christ and
by him as man ascend up to God.
神的恩典临及你们,赐于你们‘成为神儿众子(复数,sons)的能力’(约翰1:12)。
请听我父的声音,‘我曾说:你们是神,都是至高者的儿子。(诗篇82:6)’因着他们
是人,是人的儿子(复数,sons),如果他们还不是至高者的儿子,他们就是撒谎的(诗
篇116:11)。如果他们是神儿众子(复数,sons),如果他们是救主的恩典赎回来的,如
果他们是由宝血买回来的,如果他们是从水和灵重生的,如果他们是预定要承受天(国)
的,那么他们就是神的儿女。就是神(复数,gods)。那些谎言跟你们又有何干呢?亚当
只是一个人;基督,是人又神;神,万物的创造者。你,哦人,是远离神的,神也是远离
人;而神人(指基督)把他自己放在他们之间。你要承认基督,借着他,人被升高到神那
里去。

See in the same psalm those to whom he says, ‘I have said, You are gods and
all of you sons of the Most High; but you shall die like men, and fall like
one of the princes.’ It is evident, then, as he has called men gods, that
they are deified by his grace, not born of his substance. For he who
justifies someone is just through his own self and not through another, and
he who deifies someone is a god through himself, not by partaking of another.
He who justifies is the same as he who deifies, in that by justifying he
makes us sons of God. If we have been made sons of God, we have also been
made gods; but this is the effect of grace adopting, not of nature
generating. For only the Son of God [is] God … The rest that are made gods
are made by his own grace, are not born of his substance, that they should be
the same as he, but that by favor they should come to him, and be fellow
heirs with Christ.
在同一首诗中看见那些他称为‘我曾说:你们是神,都是至高者的儿子。然而,你们要死
,与世人一样,要仆倒,像王子中的一位。’明显的,他称人为神(众神,gods),他们
就能够因着恩典被神化,但不是从他的性质而生。那称义人的乃是经由他自己,而不是他
人称义,而他那神化人的,经由他自己乃是神,不是有份与他人(物)。若我们被塑造成
为神的众子,我们同样也被塑造成众神(gods);但是这是从领养我们的恩典来的功效,
不是从(我们的)性质产生的。因为,只有神的儿子是神(God)。。。其他的,都是由
他(子)自己的恩典塑造而成的,不是从他的性质(父)而生,所以与他(子)不一样。
但是借由(父的)喜悦,他们成为像祂,与基督一同成为继承者。

我的理解是透过信仰,人能成圣,但依旧有本质上的差异http://orthodox.pixnet.net/blog/category/1016943这是我以前的阅读资料
