JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:
Associate, Business Development
Reporting to:
Assistant General Manager
Responsibilities:
-Support in implementation of marketing initiative/activities
-Respond to internal client’s request with regard to product, regulations and
insurance practice in Taiwan or other markets
-Produce regular reports including but not limited to analysis on new business
statistics, new product to the market, etc
-Understand and stay up to date on local regulation with regard to reinsurance
-Assist in preparing reinsurance offers to client
-Assist in treaty wording
-Support Line Manager to create presentation material
-Prepare marketing material
-Translate policy provisions/regulations and other materials for internal or
external use
-Assist Line Manager / Marketing Manager to communicate with client’s RI
contacts upon request
-Lead or assist in organization of marketing event
-Conduct research to assist in developing new products and solutions for insurance company
-Ensure that Marketing Function is compliant to regulations
-Assist Line Manger in internal reporting
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Actuarial background preferred
-At least 3 years working experience in life insurance industry
-Good command of written English and Chinese
