密尔瓦基酿酒人投手尼尔森（Jimmy Nelson）最近遇上生命中其中一个大难关，怀有双胞
胎的妻子米莉莎（Melissa Nelson）被诊断患上双胎输血综合症（TTTS），肚内两名女儿
死亡机会极大，所幸，现时米莉莎已熬过手术台一关。尼尔森近2天在IG连续发文，对外公
布最新情况。
尼尔森昨天IG在发文，称上周发现，双胎输血综合征，若不动手处理的话，死亡机会率高
达95%，妻子必须接受镭射手术治理，方能保住两名女婴的性命。尼尔森在术前发文支持
老婆：“每人都有自己的奋斗故事，不论大小。我们之所以留下故事，不是因为眼前面对
的困难，而是在于我们怎样去面对。”

PLEASE READ: I rarely post things this long but platforms are meant to be
used. Over the last week we have found out that our baby girls have twin to
twin transfusion; and if untreated carries about a 95% mortality rate.
Fortunately there is a laser procedure that can be done to try and reverse
the progression of the transfusion. However, even with the procedure there
still is a rather significant chance of losing one or both; and complications
that can happen post operation.
To get to the points I’m trying to make. First off, I couldn’t be any more
proud of my wife, @melissa_l_nelson , for being the strongest person I’ve
met. Over the last 16 months she has been my rock through the hardest period
of time in my life; and although I continue to fight now it’s my turn to be
the rock. The things that we have gone through and continue to go through
will only strengthen us.
Which brings me to my next point. Every single person has their battles, no
matter how big or small or internal or external, we all have them. Who we are
and our legacy is not what we go through but how we go through it, grow from
it, and learn from it. Very rarely do we see beneath the surface of people
and know the full story; and for that reason I want to encourage everyone to
be slow to judge, criticize, and hate but be quick to listen, help, and love.
Even in times like this we know how fortunate and blessed we are. We also
want to say ahead of time that we appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.

不久后米莉莎手术顺利完成，松一口气的尼尔森指未来48小时都要留院观察，性命攸关：
“我们感谢外界的鼓励，你们对我的支持实在是太棒了，感谢你们！”纵使米莉莎昨天在
手术台上过了一关，但仍存在手术后遗症的风险。《纽约邮报》续补充，双胎输血综合征
是两个婴儿因共用一个胎盘，导致血管出现异常。此症非遗传病，任何怀有多胎的孕妇都
有机会患上。
尼尔森是酿酒人2010年第二轮选回的投手，一度被视为酿酒人先发轮值的中流砥柱，2017
年投出12胜6败3.49防御率亮眼成绩时，因为肩伤动了关节唇撕裂修补手术，这个伤也让
台湾之光王建民付出了重大代价，尼尔森去年一整季都在复健中，今年能不能回来，并且
保持一号先发投手身手有待观察中。
