The Royals are working toward an agreement with Mike Moustakas on a
short-term deal,likely for one year, a source tells MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan.
The club has not confirmed.
Moustakas belted a franchise-record 38 home runs for the Royals while
recording a career-high .835 OPS in his seventh year with Kansas City.
