Recent highlights: Perhaps Wang, who spent the entire 2014 season with the Brewers after being a Rule 5 draft pick and was massively overmatched in the majors, is back to being considered a bona fide prospect. In his Sept. 1 start for Brevard County, the 23-year-old left-hander threw a complete game, allowing two earned runs on six hits without issuing a walk and striking out six in the win. He was then promoted to Colorado Springs and won his Sept. 6 start, pitching six shutout innings, giving up four
hits and no walks with five strikeouts. For the season, Wang was 11-6 overall with a 3.40 ERA (1.30 WHIP) and 96 strikeouts to 39 walks in 145 2/3 innings.
