Gibbons confirms Wang will start Saturday

Chien-Ming Wang will start for the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday.
Blue Jays manager John Gibbons confirmed to reporters that the team will
bring up Wang for just one start and he’ll likely be sent back down to
triple-A after Saturday’s game with the Houston Astros.
Wang made five starts for Toronto earlier this season, posting a 1-1 record
with a 7.13 ERA with 11 strikeouts and eight walks in 24.0 innings.
The 33-year-old was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on July 3, and
has spent the majority of the last two months with the Buffalo Bisons.
Heading into this weekend’s series with Houston, the Blue Jays have a 57-71
record and sit in fifth place in the American League East.
