I am looking for an enthusiastic PhD student
to work on numerical simulations of quantum
many-body systems in my research team within
the Physics of Quantum Materials group at the
University of Kent. The successful candidate
will join my research group to work on a project
targeting twisted graphene multilayer and
multi-band systems more generally using
diagrammatic Monte-Carlo techniques.

Other topics of current interest in my group
include synthetic quantum matter, with phenomenology
driven by topology and interactions which we
generally study based on the use of quantum
computers, DMRG and isometric tensor networks
in d>1, as well as Monte-Carlo and machine-learning
approaches.

studentship will benefit from a full stipend
for a duration of 3.5 years, and will enjoy
