Dundee创立于1881年，在1897年时属于St.Andrew大学的一部分，当时发展了医学、法学、
牙科学和其它职业性的课程，1967年学校脱离St. Andrew，改制成Dundee大学，并开始独
立招生。
现在的Dundee，以社会服务、生物科技、医学、牙科学、生命科学、法学、建筑和
艺术等专业课程闻名。
最为台湾人所熟知的校友：乔汉娜．贝斯福（Johanna Basford），在台掀起手绘疗愈着色
