起因
从小在国际学校读书，本来打算去美国读CS，但后来对hotel有兴趣+哥哥已在美国读CS
，就决定去欧洲看看。在瑞士，一直对tech的东西有兴趣+没有很喜欢hotel，大三实习
就跑去一家当地的QR code startup。当时在上海办公室，因为没有设计师，我就帮老板
做了app的wireframe和负责QA Testing。自己一直想转领域CS之类的，但又想结合大学的
东西，觉得information science和HCI比较适合，似乎很欢迎跨领域的人。
跟版上的相比，自己其实背景超弱的，大学是有hotel major几乎没有选修。有点后悔选
EHL这件大学, 很雷，UT Austin不承认他的学历......不是被拒绝是不给我机会....
客观地觉得自己上其他学校的机率不高，没有太多经验，就打算拼背景特殊和SOP的转折。
托福
国际学校的训练很够，有跟朋友拿了补习班讲义来看，练了一些写作题。
GRE
服役时，去上MasonGRE，做了蛮多的reading和数学
自己Verbal分数靠reading有150+，就懒得背单字(不要学)
蛮后悔awa 没有练，太久没写作文还是有差，不能乱掰 UW 就是因为AWA太低而拒绝我...
SOP
一开始写的很乱，后来发现真的要找认识的朋友帮忙，刚好我服役的室友是UC Berkeley
传播系，从小在美国长大，逻辑很强。大概聊了两个礼拜，才有不错的东西出来。
大家真的要提早写SOP，我拖到最后一刻。
1 从小在酒店式公寓长大，后来去了最后的hotel school (80)
2 通过standard operating procedure发现了旅客资讯的重要性 (75)
3 在大学的毕业project进一步利用information来改变旅馆业的 (150)

4 稍微总结上一段的东西和讲为何需要information (60)

Personal Statement
这边要找到自己的特色，我是强调读hotel大学情感方面的东西,需要跟你的SOP互补，
可以重复但是不同面向。
1 因为住hotel，很喜欢hotel的service，所以自己也想给其他人home like经验(100)
2 高中去做志工，帮别人盖房子 延续home like （100）
3 所以去读了hotel 大学 继续强调home like的概念 (200)
4 总结学到的东西(50)

除了给外交役的室友看，之后还给了我哥(Ivy league毕业的）、台大外文系的神人朋友
、专业的润稿[email protected] (真的很厉害，品质很稳定，价格便宜。)
Others
大家真的要早一点考GRE和TOEFL，提醒推荐人记得上传LOR，写SOP和PS，准备作品集。
最重要的是选适合自己的学校投，没有不要你的school，只有不match的～～
能录取Georgia tech真的是很意外，自己技术底子不强，设计也没学很多。
