最近学校也开的差不多了，想要来问问大家选校的问题。
小弟主要是申请化工MS。先阐述我想要选校的方向，最主要是想留在美国工作一阵子，但
我知道MS要找到工作很难，所以我是有要读PhD的打算。而不直接申请PhD的原因很简单就
是因为觉得自己成绩不到，GPA 3出头而已，大概会被R到怒报指考转CS。
以下就列出我对几个学校的疑问，也希望大家能帮我顺手排个优先级。
目前有几个AD：
UW, Seattle, CHE - MS
这所没什么好讲，各方面都不错。
PSU, Non-thesis Master of Science in Chemical Engineering – MS
只有修课的Program，含7学分的Independent study，The program culminates with a
written research paper and presentation.其中有段话我眼睛为之一亮：The M.S.
experience is also an exceptional stepping-stone that individuals may use to
apply to chemical engineering Ph.D. programs.且根据小道消息指出，PSU要内转PhD
似乎相对容易些。
想请问有没有版上大大有没有人有相关经验。
JHU, Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.) program in Chemical and
Biomolecular Engineering
学校听起来实在很吓人，不过Program有点特别，The student must write an essay
based on original research and literature review and present his or her
results at an open seminar attended by the faculty and students. The essay
must be approved by the departmental graduate committee, which consists of
the graduate research advisor and at least one more faculty member from the
Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. The MSE essay
presentation is similar to the Ph.D. thesis defense (without the GBO part) (
借问一下GBO是什么？丢G查不到)，简单来说就是有essay但不是thesis，有类似defense
。
我自己有寄信问那里的教授说读这个Program申请PHD的问题，但教授也只是回我说他也不
能保证。
想问各位版上大大这种program在申请PHD会比较劣势吗？我意思是跟像UW有thesis的
program比。

感觉就会被转成Meng，不过根据有人似乎有经验是先去念Meng然后直接申请Cornell PhD

Cornell MS>UPenn=UW(毕竟这三个都是有thesis)>JHU>PSU>USC>Cornell Meng
