根据英英字典，stress 可以用来表示
“恶劣或苛刻环境造成的心理或情绪上的紧张感、紧绷感”。例如：
She’s been dealing with a lot of emotional stress because she’s facing some
marriage problems.（她最近在处理许多情绪压力，因为她的婚姻正面临一些问题。）
Tiredness, headaches, and sleeping difficulties are just some of the common
symptoms of stress.（疲倦、头痛、睡眠障碍只是一些常见的压力症状。）
※ emotional stress（情绪压力）、
symptoms of stress（压力症状）都是指心理或情绪上所感受到的压力。
3. Pressure （偏向外在的压力或压力源） to Perform
这边有两种定义
第一种是“能对某人事物造成影响或后果的压力”。
※ peer pressure（同侪压力）、
pressure of wanting his team to win（想要他的队伍赢的压力）
pressure to work longer hours（增加工时的压力）、
pressure to graduate（毕业的压力）
都是指那些来自外在、可能会对某人产生影响的压力。
第二种是“（对某人的时间或资源）要求太多所造成的急迫压力感”。
※ pressure 指外在给予的“急迫压迫感”，
而这种压迫感可能会让某些人心理产生压力，但对某些人可能就没什么影响。
