It doesn't make sense
To anyone but me
This world I've created
With its own set of rules
Fixed and immutable
Snatched from the ether
I carry it with me through the
Hustle and bustle of daily life
Shielded from banality
Drawing on its generative power
To protect me, to enfold me
And I grew lonely
Carrying inside me a world
Alone. So I sought out
A kindred spirit
I let her in
I showed her the ropes
I turned my back for one second
One second too long
Long enough for her to usurp me
This fixed set of rules
Was never meant to do such things
How do you so thoroughly
Twist them, pervert them
By doing exactly as I do?
So I leave behind
The barren impurity of a shattered sky
To begin anew
I accept my fated aloneness
I revel in solipsistic pleasure
Moebius strip
Ouroboros
And in the darkest hour
Craving to be understood, I open
A brief window into this world
