Summer day is here
The utterly blinding rays have encumbered my eyes
When purple hydrangeas are blooming on the street
My heart sings with joy
With every bit of last summer's splash
The people who have gone
The people who stay
Slowly form a pattern of a summer I can slightly foresee
And to some extent regret
Summer feels all the same
Yet still exciting
It's the heat, outside and inside
Somehow it just takes you
