Subterfuge, deception, double standards,
As we strove to catch each other's lies,
While keeping perfect surface order;
But now that you've openly admitted
That things weren't always as they seemed,
When you refuse the dark and shadows,
When you stand in the light of day, what
Use have I for one more point, or
Sharply leveled accusation? What fun
Is there in catching you in
Paradoxes, now that you don't even
Pretend?
Every confirmed condemnation
Just seems another iron nail driven
Into my heart by that maniacal cynic:
