The Super Mario Bros. Movie has undoubtedly been a massive success for both Nint
endo and Illumination, setting records across the board and putting a smile on c
inema goers faces. Now, legendary video game creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, has reco
nfirmed to Japanese news site Nihon Keizai Shimbun that there is “no doubt” th
at he will make another film based on Nintendo franchises. We don’t know what’
s next after the success of the Super Mario Bros. Movie, but it is sure to end u
p being another smash hit.

任天堂の“スーパーマリオ”を题材とした映画が、アニメ映画の公开初期の収入として过
去最高を记录した。マリオの生みの亲として知られる宫本茂代表取缔役フェローは、日本
経済新闻の取材に応じ、映像作品を“また作るのは间违いない”と明言した。长らくゲー
ム事业の一本柱だったが、自社を“タレント事务所”（宫本氏）と捉え、多様な知的财产
（IP）活用で成长を目指す。
日文新闻的描述有微妙差异，“映像作品”并不一定指电影也包括TV动画等，
不过个人认为任天堂如果能趁玛利欧电影热度还在顶峰时丢出下部作品消息是最好的。
