去年9月，根据《Deadline》报导，华纳兄弟影业正在开发一部《康斯坦汀：驱魔神探》
的续集，并且基努李维（Keanu Reeves）将会回归饰演康斯坦汀。
而在近日接受 Total Film 采访时，基努李维也首度公开谈及对系列新续作的看法：
"I don't know if it was unfinished business but it was definitely a role that
I loved. And I thought that Francis Lawrence, the director, did such amazing
work. I loved playing that character, and I really enjoyed the film. I was
like, 'Can I please have some more?'"
“我不知道该不该称其为未竟之业，但这绝对是我超爱的一个角色。而我认为首部电影的
导演 Francis Lawrence，拍出了非常不得了的作品，我喜欢饰演康斯坦汀，也真的很享
受那部电影。我的态度一直都是‘拜托了，可以给我更多吗？’”
"I kept asking almost every year. I'd be like, 'Can I please?' [and] they'd be
like, 'No, no!'"
“我几乎每年都会询问（华纳），我就像是‘拜托，请让我…’但他们给我的感觉就都是
‘不，不行！’”
所以当华纳终于给出正面答复并同意放行新作时，李维和他的团队很快就投入了这部电影
的开发。
"So it's exciting. It's almost like an open playground that we can hopefully
cook something up and play in, and I guess get out of the playground and
prepare a meal. But I'm looking forward to it, and hopefully it can happen.
You don't know how these things go. But I'm definitely going to try my
darndest to try and realize that dream."
