"Take me to church[1]" is a song by an Irish musician Hozier. When you look
at the title, you may think this song is talking about marriage or having a
wedding in the church. Actually, this song and its music video are talking
about not only homophobia but also violence. There are a lot of people have a
prejudice. When the persons are different with them, they will do or say
something to hurt the different guys. Their point of view is so medieval and
racist[2]. People deserve to be free to love whom they choose, without
prejudice[3].
Gay marriage hasn't been legalized in Taiwan in nowadays. There are so many
gay people want to be together forever with their partners. I am such a
romantic. I'm so stoked to get married[4] with my girl in the future. I am
searching the songs to do our wedding song list now. I have lots of ideas
about the wedding vows. "Forever can never be long enough for me.[5]" "What
would I do without your smart mouth?[6]" "I could live by the light in your
eyes.[7]" I want to have the wedding to tell the world that we finally got it
all right[7]. We may not have the most excepting, incredible, happiness
wedding. All I want is to be the lucky guy holding her hands to the end. We
deserve to experience love fully, equally, without shame, and without
compromise[4].
