1. 5G-MEC (Mobile Edge Computing): H2020 project with EU partners

Network softwarization on 5G mobile systems with edge computing and fog computing
Research issues: service chain routing, multi-tenant slicing, multi-RAT offloading, federation, vehicular fog
2. IoT Security: joint research project with industry partners
Self integrity check for IoT eco-system with strong security
Blockchain on IoT gateway and machine learning on IoT server
3rd-party authentication in federated cloud, edge, fog
【研究风格】
1. 先D后R (先development后research), 题目由系统实作发现的问题找出,
而非看别人论文跟随, 毕业时兼具产品实作与专利设计之能力.
2. 同时参与系统实作与论文研究两项工作时, 会领两份计画研究助理薪资.
3. 硕士保证两年毕业, 且在毕业典礼前口试, 实验室管理自由开放,
只有在进度落后时才要求自我管理实验室时间, 追上进度.
4. 与多国学者跨国合作，可培养国际观，博士生有机会短期交换(3-6个月)或申请千里马一年期国外研究。
【教授简介】
林盈达任职交通大学资讯工程系特聘教授，于1993年取得UCLA电脑科学博士学位，他在2007年、2010年及2017年担任Cisco访问学者、
电信技术中心执行长、国家实验研究院副院长各一年，他分别在2002及2018年新创L7 Networks Inc.(后被友讯科技D-Link并购)及
O’Prueba Inc.(诠隼科技)，他也在2002年创立网络测试中心NBL (Network Benchmarking Lab, www.nbl.org.tw)并担任主任至今，
该中心近年以真实流量及自动化工具测试网通产品，且于2014年7月成为ONF(Open Networking Foundation)之认证实验室，参与ONF
多项测试标准之制定。他的研究领域涵盖网络协定设计、实作、分析与测试，近年以网络安全、无线通讯、嵌入式软硬件效能及软件
定义网络为主轴，他的 multi-hop cellular 论文是此议题之第一个研究，被引用次数超过850次并被标准化至IEEE 802.11s、
IEEE 802.15.5、WiMAX IEEE 802.16j及3GPP LTE-Advanced。他因在多阶蜂巢通讯与深层封包检查的贡献而于2013年升任IEEE Fellow，
并于2017年获得科技部杰出研究奖与资讯学会李国鼎穿石奖，目前也兼任ONF之研究员(Research Associate, 2014-2018)及
IEEE Distinguished Lecturer (2014-2017)，正担任或担任过十余个国际期刊之编辑，包括
