印尼布吉族（Bugis）遵循神话“加利哥”的世界观，认为性别分为五类，其中本片关注
的帢拉莱（Calalai）即以男性身份生活的生理女性。随着外来文化及伊斯兰教的传入，
其多元的性别视角受到威胁。影片以当地传统吟唱，娓娓道出布吉族的文化。
A story about women in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, belonging to the Bugis
culture, an exception in the modern world ruled by a binary gender system.
The Bugis people have accepted gender diversity as codified in their La
Galigo manuscript. They believe that humankind consists of five genders, and
that one of them is calalai. Who are the calalai?
