第一届亚太“传染病讯息学暨生物侦测”国际研讨会（BioSecure 2009）
今年（2009/09/23-2009/09/25）台湾大学流行病学研究所与美国亚历桑纳大学在
台湾举办第一届亚洲“传染病讯息学暨生物侦测”国际研讨会（BioSecure 2009），
此会议为国际电机电子工程师学会（Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers, IEEE）所属的两个研究委员会委托举办（SMC,ITS）。今年适逢H1N1全球流
感病毒流行，本次大会主题特别以国际合作的观点来讨论全球疾病侦测的策略，所包含
的四大研讨方向包含了：
1. 猪流感、人流感、禽流感在亚洲各国的防疫经验；
2. 公共卫生资讯学的应用；
3. 新兴的资讯监测工具；
4. 国际个案经验交流。
期望透过研讨会的交流让熟悉资讯技术（IT）与实际参与公卫防疫实务的人才进行
交流，期能让台湾扮演亚洲地区传染病讯息学研究与生物侦测的领导角色，发挥地区影

Dr. Bao is currently Staff Scientist the National Center for Biotechnology
Information (NCBI) at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda,
Maryland, USA. One of his primary responsibilities is to manage the NCBI
Influenza Virus Resource for NCBI.
