When I was looking for covering algorithm package in R,
I found there was package for association rules.
I was wondering what is the difference between association rules
and covering algorithm.
I mean, these two methods both use coexistence as foundation of cause-effect
relation. What's their difference?
In my opinion, the separate-and-conquer procedure in covering algorithm
is the main difference, since association rules never remove instance.
Is that right?
