IRAPUATO (Mexico) - Chinese Taipei broke into the win column on Day 2 of the F
IBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2024 in Mexico, also their first in the h
istory of the competition.
They defeated Egypt, 69-45, to book their first-ever win in their debut appear
ance in the biennial competition. They practically led from start to finish, p
utting up leads of as big as 25 points in the process. Yu Shan Hsu led the way
for the victors with 13 points and 8 rebounds, while Yu Chen Peng added a 10-
point, 11-rebound double-double
