: TEHRAN (2016 FIBA Asia Challenge) - The draw for the Preliminary Round
: competition of the FIBA Asia Challenge 2016 to be played in Tehran (Iran)
: from September 9-18 has been announced.
2016亚洲挑战杯分组比赛将会在9/9~9/18伊朗(德黑兰)举行
: The twelve (12) participating teams have been into groups of four as follows:
十二支参赛队伍如下
: Group A: China(中国), Jordan(约旦), Kazakhstan(哈萨克斯坦)
: Group B: Philippines(菲律宾), India(印度), Chinese Taipei(中华台北)
: Group C: Iran(伊朗), Qatar(卡达), Iraq(伊拉克)
: Group D: Japan(日本), Korea(韩国), Thailand(泰国)
: All Three (3) teams from each group advance to the Second Round where
: they will be divided into two (2) groups of six (6). Each team will play
: against the three (3) new teams in its group.

: The top four (4) teams from each group advance to the Quarter-Finals.

: The Final Phase will be played in a knockout format from the Quarter-Finals

: The top five teams in the FIBA Asia Challenge will earn for their respective
: sub-zones an extra berth in the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup (formerly the FIBA Asia
