Spanish daily SPORT have bad news for Liverpool fans, as they boldly claim
that Barcelona have agreed terms with Luis Suarez on his transfer to the Camp
Nou, and the deal is labelled as ‘inevitable’.
Just in case readers are unsure of what ‘inevitable’ means, SPORT also say
the conclusion of the transfer is only ’a matter of time’ and undoing the
deal is ‘not feasible’.
SPORT further claim inside knowledge of the current thinking towards Suarez
at Liverpool, reporting that his expulsion from the World Cup and all the
controversy over that bite means Suarez is ‘depreciating slowly but steadily
’, and the Reds are now open to doing business over their star striker.
As to the details of the deal, SPORT outline that Barca will start the
bidding with Liverpool by offering 30 million euros and Alexis Sanchez. That
total package, from Barca’s perspective, is said to be worth €60m.
As to the front page of SPORT on Sunday, it’s claimed that Luis Suarez will
get treatment from a psychologist to control his biting impulses.
The tabloid claim such therapy takes a year to train the brain and master
emotions, while experts believe that Suarez’s behavior is caused by
childhood frustrations.
