With tools like ultra-zooming, area selection, photo capture, pausing camera viewfinder, and loading from albums; the successful rate of scanning can be improved much further. Scan results are well kept and categorized in history for further action.

The most common reasons for the failure of auto scanning includes e.g. lack of focus, too small item, and multiple items close to each other.
In case of lack of focus, it is usually caused by too short distance between camera and the item to scan. Manual scan provides zooming feature in real-time camera viewfinder so that end user could keep further distance between camera and item. Moreover, end user could capture a photo which utilizes the maximum capacity of the camera to provide sharper images than viewfinder frames. In case of shaky hands, end user could pause the camera viewfinder or capture a photo and scan it later. Besides, manual
scan can load images from albums.
In case of too small item, end user could zoom in both for viewfinder and for captured/paused image. Photo capture provides much higher resolution image than viewfinder frames and therefore can be further zoomed in.
In case of multiple items close to each other, manual scan provides area selection tool. By simply dragging on captured/paused image, area can be selected and scanned. Therefore items close to each other in image can be scanned separately.
After a successfully scan, the result is categorized, copied to clipboard, and saved into history. End user can perform context related actions immediately after a successful scan or later in history view.
