应该是说：你(法官)现在正准备评判一个新出现的对象(被告)当然你是主导整个审判过程没有错，但是别忘了还有陪审团的意见，而陪审团有时其地位与性质会与被告有相似性(譬如说年龄或背景相仿，譬如总不能让平均20岁的年轻人去审酌50岁罪犯的案件)陪审团制度在台湾不施行，但在美国是常轨，法官的判决将采纳陪审团的意见作为基础依据，甚至有可能将判决交付陪审团决定。美国法律电影中常看到。
