我现在在申请OPT STEM extension 出了点问题. 因为9月底打算回台湾结婚.
想请问版友有没有碰过这种情况和应该怎么办.
我于6/15号 (opt到期90天前)将我的申请送到USCIS,
并且于6月底收到receipt 和 case number.
可是7/4号我收到目前工作学校的international office 写信给我,
跟我说 i765 form 上的是 E-verify number, 而不是 EIN number.
office 的人要我回去问原来学校应该要怎么做.
原来学校的人说
Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about it at this point. If USCIS really wants to
know E-verify number, they will send you a request for evidence
(RFE) or find it themselves. Most likely your application will be processed
normally.
于是我转寄了同样的话给工作学校的international office,
但她却说如果他们这么说那你可以等等看, 但她觉得应该会被reject 或 RFE.
我现在去看我的STATUS 仍是
On June 16, 2017, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment
Authorization , Receipt Number xxxxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice
that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions
in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by July 16, 2017,
please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to
www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
因为要回去结婚, 酒席那些都订好了. 我希望我的申请不要被拖延到.
这阵子被这件事像大石压在心上. 请问版友们有任何建议吗? 真的很感谢.
