如果超过DS-2019 (new program)上的start date(30天内)是否还可以入境美国?
我爬完板上所有的文, 有的说可以有的说不行
想请问有没有前辈有实际经验,在进海关时是否会被挡?
我有请学校改SEVIS上的日期,但学校行政太慢,迟迟得不到协助
因此想了解是否能直接入境
我查到mit/cmu的网页写‘前’‘后’30天可入境:

但AIT给的指示没说可以:
If you are applying for an F1 or M1 Student Visa to start a new course of
study, please insure that you will be able to arrive in the US by the start
date listed on the I-20 form. Otherwise, you will need to contact your school
to update the SEVIS system with a later start date.
If you are applying for a J1 Exchange Visitor Visa to start a new program,
please insure that you will be able to arrive in the US by the start date
listed on the DS-2019 form. Otherwise, you will need to contact your
sponsoring organization to update the SEVIS system with a later start date.
看来此规则有些模糊地带
