过了一年又回来这个温馨的VISA版了。
我是硕士学位Master of Counseling, Speciality是Marriage and Family Therapy.
是属于心理卫生医疗领域的。
我的H1b去年被核准后，只给了一年的效期 (6/30/2013-6/29/2014)
原因是我的特殊职能是要拿牌的，但我现在还没考到正式牌照，我目前只持有实习牌照。
我的实习牌照的效期是7/1/2013-6/30/2014，每年我都得renew实习牌照的效期。
所以目前我的H1b效期是跟着我的实习牌照效期走的。
结论是我每年都要申请H1b Extension，直到我拿正式牌照。
公司是Non-Profit，做Mental Health Social Services。
这是去年核准时移民局写的信:
If the beneficiary is in possession of a restricted license (实习牌照)，and
the petition is otherwise approvable, an adjudicator should approve the
petition for a period of one year, or the duration of the restricted license,
which ever is longer.
If the petition later requests an extension of stay on behalf of the
beneficiary, the petitioner must demonstrate that the beneficiary has been
granted a valid unrestricted license to practice the health care occupation
in the state in which he/she will be working. If the beneficiary does not have
the valid unrestricted license at the time the extension of stay petition is
filed, the petition will be denied.
现在要申请H1b Extension了，而去年使用的律师开价$1600帮我办今年的Extenstion。
因为费用好高，公司不愿意出，而且我每年都要办一次，所以想问有没有人自己DIY办H1b
Extension?
我手上有去年initial application 的拷贝，我大概知道要完成哪些文件，但查了网上
资料，有些人不建议自己办，因为风险高，而有些人自己办也轻易过了。
想知道各位的意见？
我目前还搞不清楚Extension公司要不要再缴一次Fraud Fee$500 和其他费用?
(我已经递出考牌申请了，但最快也要到七月才能考试，如果不幸没考到，我得等六个月才
能重考，所以H1b延期是必要的。同时我也问公司愿不愿意帮我办绿卡，省去这些每年繁杂
的手续，公司还没回复。)
