他的父亲斯尔詹（Srdjan Djokovic）表示，其实乔帅早已满足他的期待，希望爱儿能在明
年后退休。
在纪录片“Novak Djokovic – Untold Stories”中，斯尔詹提到，“我对Novak的期待早
在7、8年实现，随后的一切都是锦上添花，我认为网球只是他人生的一部份，不应该是全部
，我期待他在结束职业生涯，离开网球从事其他事，也能同样得到认可，希望这一切会在明
年发生。”
