作文题目今昔对比很多，这类文章同学通常在发展不会有太大问题，因为不
管假设是多久前的过去，毕竟事情都已经发生过，比较好描述、举例，但是
题目如果是问“现在vs.未来”，很多同学在举例的时候可能会掌握不好。
当然未来会发生任何事是没有人可以预期的，不过J2建议同学在写的时候，
还是可以“根据现今趋势、情况”合理推测，例子会比较有说服力，才能说
服读者/考官。
以下举几个例子给同学参考看看。
题目是：
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Twenty
years from now, people will have more leisure time (free time)
than they do today.
S同学赞成（感谢S同学提供），认为20年后，我们会有更多空闲时间。
其中一段同学是这么写的：
Secondly, when it comes to having more free time, having fewer or
even no children can allow people to achieve this goal, but people
in modern times have more children. Take my parents as an example.
I have two brothers and a sister, so my parents have to spend
plenty of time taking care of us. That is to say, after they get
off work at five p.m., they need to check our homework, train us
to do household chores, and cook dinner for us. Therefore, they
barely have free time. However, in 2041, people normally will have
fewer than 2 kids. Apparently, they can have a lot of time to
enjoy their leisure time.
可以看一下倒数第二句 “However, in 2041, people normally will have
fewer than 2 kids.” 我常常跟同学说写作第一原则是要解释清楚，而不
是期待读者脑补、能读懂你。
所以同学应该要想的是：
(O)我写了这么钜细靡遗，你还看不懂，那一定是我还有什么地方没有解释
清处。
(X)我写了这么钜细靡遗，你还看不懂，那一定是你理解有问题。
如果只有一句“20年后人们通常不会有超过两个小孩”，没有其他的论述、
佐证，会比较难有说服力。建议可以简单说个数据例如：调查显示现在20到
40岁愿意生小孩的只有三成（这数据可以随便掰，重点是能说服人即可），
所以可见20年后很少人有小孩，就可以“把照顾小孩省下的时间”作自己喜
欢的事。
特别提一下当然20年后会发生什么事没人知道，搞不好疫情后突然来个baby
boom, 突然大家都很愿意生了，每对夫妻都生个两个甚至三个。但重点是可
以用现在“已知的事实”去推测未来，即使没人说的准，普遍读者也比较能
接受，才能“认同”你所写的，进而达到“说服读者”的目的。
再举另一段的例子。
Last but not least, if the society cares more about work-life
balance, people will have more leisure time, and I believe that in
20 years, people will put a lot of emphasis on work-life balance.
For instance, a friend of mine, Jason, works from 8:00 a.m. to
6:00 p.m. during workdays. Besides, when he gets home, he still
has to reply to his boss’s emails. What’s more, he has to work
on his project on weekends. In addition, he usually stays up late
to prepare his firm’s financial reports. Clearly, it is
completely difficult for him to maintain a balance between work
and life and create his free time.
这段跟上段比起来，又多了一个问题。整段描述现在的人是多么的忙碌，整
天忙工作完全没有生活，所以根本没有空闲时间。
所以20年后呢？整段都没有提到，变成读者又得去脑补所以20年后大家都会
注重work-life balance, 就会有更多空闲时间了？
回到与上段同样问题，如何说服读者“20年后大众都会更在乎work-life
balance呢？”可以试着说现在几乎所有国家都实行周休二日，甚至有些企
业或国家也开始尝试周修三日，而且证实效果还不错，所以可以合理假设20
年后，会又更多的企业及国家跟进，使的周修三日变常态，人民就会有更多
空闲时间。
用“现在的趋势”去推未来，相信普遍多数人比较能接受，故事也较有说服
力。
以上几点建议大家在写关于未来现在比较的题目，可以试试看。

A/D: People in the future will read fewer books.
A/D: Even though people nowadays care about environmental problems
such as pollution and global warming, the environment is not going
to improve much in the future.
A/D: Robots will replace humans in the future of work.
