【口说】托福口说怎么清楚易懂？Cut to the chase!

本篇口说文章，希望能让读者认知的是讲话精简有力的重要性。针对托福 Task 1，最需要动脑想点、练习流畅度的独立题型，跟大家做分析。
首先，必须先澄清的是，讲话有重点有逻辑，简短又清楚，是非常需要练习的。或许你平常连讲中文都是绕一大圈才讲到重点，更何况是转到不熟悉的英语情境下。
因此，这个技巧务必以持续的经验累积作为基础，把实力提升起来。当然讲成好的答案包含其他的因素（发音、词汇量、想点），今天先探讨内容精简的部分。
“Cut to the chase”
How to stop rambling? —>Get to the point.
Skip the unnecessary context and tell me your objective.
答案揭晓：就是先讲你的原因。
听起来很简单，但其实很多同学往往第一句就开始铺陈很多不是重点的资讯，就会让听者找不到你讲话的重点。

我们利用范例来跟大家解释：
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement.
The best way to learn about the culture of a country is to watch its TV programs.
Stance: Agree.

错误范例：
笔记：
A lot of shows.
Ex, Japan —> anime —> culture.
论点：
The television has a lot of programs to choose from and it is a great way to learn.
I personally learned a lot about Japan. The anime I watch are so much fun and I really enjoy it. The language they use are also in Japanese, so it helps me learn about their culture.
I have also found out that Japanese people are very polite, it is part of the values they have in their country.
I learned about the culture from these programs.

修正过的范例：
笔记：
Content —> diversity
Ex, Japanese anime —> clubs.
论点：
You can learn about the culture of a society through television context, especially since they provide a lot of diverse content.
For example, I learned a lot about the typical high school life of a Japanese student through its anime. I did not know that they put such emphasis on their after school clubs!
Through the stories and plot lines of these anime, I gained info on Japan’s culture of which it is based on.

范例解析：
- 这边改过的范例整体逻辑环环相扣。
- 先讲看电视“可以”从不同的题材学到多样化。而不是看电视“有”很多不同的节目可以学习。
- 接下来举例，每个细节都是最精简的内容。不用特别提到你很喜欢看动漫，而是点出动漫如何让你更了解一个国家的文化。
- 最后小结，务必换句话说，把论点做统整。因为托福口说第一题15秒准备时间笔记不会太多，所以切忌一直讲一样的字。learn —>gained info, programs —> stories/ plot lines.
