Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
The ability to maintain friendships with a small number of people over a long
period of time is more important for happiness than the ability to make many
new friends easily.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
请问我的文章发展可以是:
"因为老朋友比新朋友好，原因XXX，所以维持旧友谊的能力比交新朋友重要"
还是一定要论述维持旧友谊的"能力本身"比交新朋友的"能力本身"重要?
比方说:"能维持旧友谊代表够体贴，这比起强大的社交能力更让人觉得可靠"
写的当下我有想过用第二种，但总觉得这两种能力满缺乏可比性....
最后采用第一种，但担心偏题，主题句如下:
First of all, the happiness with a friend comes from sharing memory. To be
specific, long-term friendships contain even more memory.
Secondly, happiness with friends means the help between each other when in
need. Old friends might help you more than new friends do when you are in
trouble.
Last but not least, the happiness with friends means getting along with each
other without tension.In general, I feel easier to hang out with
my old friends.

第一种比较适合。三个主题句都还满不错的，但用字跟句型可能可以再改一下，语意有点不精确。

个人浅见。题目的意思是“就能带来的快乐来说，能维持友谊比能交新朋友重要”所以要抓种交友型态比较能带给人快乐*哪种是我的话主题句会以”people would feel happy/satisfied/content if xxx, and maintaining a long term friendshipwould help/ achieve xxx”
