展的慢是因为位置不好。商业模式分离，artisan负责作，商人负责卖。后
来提到银行业的帮助，还有两大家族。最后说到教育。

训练猴子上去采植物给科学家研究。后来讲了几个特色，雨林生物多样性与
温带不同，四季都很active, 即便开花是有周期性的，但是每个植物开花时

C1 学生因为看牙医所以没有交下午的作业，老师问他为什么交了copy, 才
发现学生并没有买上课指定的教科书，都是跟同学或是图书馆借来看的。后
来老师说不应该，会尽快联系解决这件事情。
L1 教授问同学恐龙有多少种不同的名字，学生说有1000多种，教授解释其
实没有这么多，考古学家一发现一个化石就取名字，另一个考古学家也发现
也给另一个名字，但后来发现是同一种恐龙。后来提到碳14定年为何不准确
的原因，提到化石化的困难。尽管现在有DNA analyses, 但是由于化石年代
太久所以DNA分析也不太准确。
L2 讲人类最早出现在东欧还是南欧
以前觉得早期人类从非洲到欧洲，然后先住在南欧。但后来发现一些
crafts，定年后应该就可以知道答案，不过radiocarbon dating无法定这么
久以前的东西，后来发现在四万年前发生过一次火山爆发，火山灰笼罩欧
洲，然后这些crafts也都有被火山灰掩盖的痕迹，所以证实应该是先在东
欧，再到南欧。
C2 学生找教授讨论intern, 但教授去开会了。admin跟学生讨论了一下这个
学生要参与的项目：golden eagle. 这属于生态环境的项目，并且有申请到
资金，但是都用于生态环境研究tracking and restore了，所以经费不足
了，但是有学分可以拿。最后admin建议学生去听一个科学讲座，学生表示
会考虑看看。

conceptualism 做了一些以自然为主的作品, 特色是不受museum和gallery
的限制，不一定要在室内展出，因此会对环境造成影响，举了个spiral
jetty当例子。

讲美国为何在1816年出现罕见严寒天气，两个原因，一是太阳活动减少，另
外是Indonesia火山爆发的dust and soot等等挡住阳光。

the professor practiced the piano when he was young and when he
was in university to learn typing, he used the same ability to
type without seeing the keyboard. This is a positive example.
Another negative example is his friend who used to have stage
acting, speak loud to make sure the audience could hear, but he
then went to a movie acting training and still speak loudly, and
this is not necessary since the microphone is just a few inches to
his mouth.
