Describe an academic subject that you enjoy learning. Explain why it is
important to you. Include reasons and examples to support your response.
Task2(极小范围)
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Children should be
required to help with household tasks as long as they grow old enough to do
so. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer
Task3(极小范围)
【个人倡议】：一个学生写倡议书建议学校的剧院应 pay 在 theater 打工的
volunteer assistants and give them specific trainings。好处 1、可让
assistants 不用再做其它工作，能更专注于剧院工作。好处 2、可提高 assistants 的
技能和工作效率。
【学生态度】：男生 totally 赞成此计划。理由 1、如果做 assistants 能 get paid，
students needn’t to do other real jobs，so they will not be late or absent
anymore and will not 影响 theater的工作。理由 2、如果做 assistants get
trained step by step，their skills will be improved and they can operate
complex new equipment efficiently and the play will be better。
Task4(极小范围)
【名词解释】：subject-expectancy effect（受试者期待效应）。大意是：人的想法容
易被事先知道的内容左右。信则灵。
【教授举例】：教授举了一个例子。一个公司的一组 office workers 感觉sluggish。
researchers 让他们 every day 服用维他命。并告知他们这种 Vitamins have a
special element that can improve the energy 和工作效率。但实际上这种 Vitamin
是一个 fake vitamin。但结果显示，The office workers felt more energetic and
worked faster。
Task5(极小范围)
【学生困难】：女生的父母 weekend 晚上要来学校 visit 她。她的问题是，她的
apartment 很乱脏，而且在晚上之前还要参加一个chemistry meeting，没时间 clean
the house。
【解决方案】：女生自己说出两方案：方案 1、不去开会 meeting 用一下午时间打扫公
寓。优点是房间会很干净。方案 2、在 meeting 结束后 rush home to clean the house
。
Task6(极小范围)
【讲课要点】：教授讲了 birds are able to migrate for great distances because
of two reasons：
原因一、store energy in form of fat before migration。举例：Hummingbird （蜂鸟
）several months before immigration, they will eat and eat and eat to
increase body fat就有力气长途飞行了。原因二、reduce the need for energy。举例
：hawk，它们飞到很高的高度，barely flapping their wings，大多数时候在天空，
depend on thermal coming up from earth 滑翔 to save energy。

成立国际基金帮助发展中国家去保护其森林资源
Reading:支持该计画
1. 避免农业破坏.
2. 还可以发展森林中的村庄村民经济.
3. 保护森林里的生物多样性.
听力:
1. 人口增长，需要食物增长，农民只能用intense techniques来提高产量，跟deforest
比较这样会对环境产生更负面影响.
2. 政府或土地所有人会把钱投在其他专案上，居民得不到那些利益.
3. 人们就算只种一种植被也有奖赏，这样会让这个趋于商业化只种植些商业性植物，
单一的植被不会支持生物多样性。
