本来听说英国的UKBA不接受TOEFL成绩，自以为可能明年才会影响到申请，本来不太在意
结果，在4/30的时候学校寄给我一封信:
Additionally I note that your English language certificate is outstanding. You
must have booked and passed one of the following examinations by June 2014. Ple
ase be advised that if you require a student visa to study at the AA we can no
longer accept the TOEFL examination since the UKBA no longer recognises it as a
valid English examination (please visit the following link for further informa

我本来已经报名了5/17号的考试，想要再拿更高的成绩，瞬间猪羊变色。
更何况人在澳洲打工，这边的TOEFL TEST比台湾更贵要240USD。
所以我照上列网页提供的Email，写了一封信给他。
内容:
I want to cancell TOEFL test on 17th May, since ETS announced Schools in UK no

然而在我寄件后一周之后，他只回我:

因为appropriate area 这个答复实在太模糊了，所以我打到马来西亚的中心询问。
结果，那个操印度口音的女接线生说:
我只能保证可以退50%，如果你不满意的话你可以打到纽约。
跨了一个周末，我打到纽约，终于得到一个比较正面的回复:
你可以拿到完整的退费，但是需要经过7-10个工作天审核。
结果终于在今天看到新的来信:
Dear Mr. Chang,
Your request to receive a test fee refund for your May 17, 2014 TOEFL iBT regis
tration date was forwarded to me for assistance. You indicated you received an
e-mail advising that TOEFL scores will not be accepted by the UK Immigration Au
thority and do not wish to test. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenie
nce and concern this may have caused you.
In response to your request, a full test fee refund of US$240.00 was issued. Th
e refund will be credited to your charge card account in approximately 7-10 day
s.
