Trump sacks national security adviser John Bolton

"I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at
the White House," he wrote.
"I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions," Mr Trump wrote, adding
that a new national security adviser would be appointed next week.
The firing comes amid reports of divisions in the Trump cabinet over a
cancelled peace plan to invite the Taliban to the US.
White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham told reporters: "[The
president] didn't like a lot of his policies, they disagree."
In response, Mr Bolton tweeted: "I offered to resign last night and President
Trump said, 'Let's talk about it tomorrow.'"

已要求波顿离职。
川普推文指出，他前一晚通知波顿，白宫不再需要波顿，他与政府其他人都强烈反对波顿
的许多建议，因此他已要求波顿离职。
川普表示，他感谢波顿的服务，将在下周宣布新的国安顾问。
但波顿随后推文指出，他前一晚向川普提出辞职，川普回他“明天再谈”。
曾任美国驻联合国大使的波顿被视为鹰派人物，对中国大陆、北韩问题等都主张强硬路线
，对台湾友善，今年5月会晤台湾国安会秘书长李大维，被视为台美关系提升。
