SAN ANTONIO — The no Twitter thing really seems to be working out well for
LaMarcus Aldridge.
The Spurs’ forward was named the Western Conference Player of the Week on
Monday, after averaging 26 points on 59.7% shooting, 7.3 rebounds and 2.5
blocked shots a game last week. He scored a season high 36 points against New
Orleans on Feb. 3, and helped the Spurs win each of their four games during
that week.
Aldridge’s great play came one week after the Spurs lost to Golden State by
30 points and Cleveland by 14 points. After the Spurs’ loss to the Warriors,
Aldridge shutdown his Twitter account, saying he wanted to take a break and “
lock in” on the season.
The Spurs are 16-0 when Aldridge leads the team in scoring.
He is averaging 16.7 points on 50.1% shooting, a team-high 8.5 rebounds and
one blocked shot a game this season. Aldridge was recently named as a
reserve for the All-Star game in Toronto. It will be his fifth straight
appearance in the game.
AGG这波反扑源自于对勇士的30分大败,他关闭了推特,宣示要上紧发条,再AGG拿下全队
