The Sixers wanted a player who could create his own offense in crunch time.
Jimmy Butler showed on Saturday night in Charlotte he is very much that
player.
Butler’s contested three-pointer with 0.3 seconds remaining in overtime gave
the Sixers a 122-119 win over the Hornets. Brett Brown cleared out for Butler
and let him go to work after his new star missed an open mid-range jumper for
the win at the end of regulation.
Somehow, some way, the Sixers survived a career-high 60 points from Kemba
Walker.

Regardless of what's happened earlier in the game, you can tell him, "Get me
a shot" and he will deliver when it matters. It's a quality the Sixers have
been missing, and it's a quality he clearly possesses.

‧ To say that no lead is safe with the Sixers is only a slight exaggeration.
They led by as many as 17 points in the second quarter but finished the
second quarter poorly and didn’t start the third well either. Saturday night
was the third straight game they squandered a lead of at least 16 points. The
Sixers also blew leads of 10 points with under four minutes left in the
fourth quarter and five points with under two minutes remaining in overtime.
Big leads dwindle all the time in the NBA, and the excuse of playing the
second game of a back-to-back on the road is valid, but the larger pattern of
allowing opponents back into games is a problem.

adjustment” playing with Jimmy Butler (see story). Whereas Simmons tended
toward deferring to his teammates in his first two games with Butler, in
Charlotte he found the right balance between borderline reckless drives to
the rim and intelligent, classic point guard facilitation.

Simmons posted a season-high 23 points, with 11 rebounds and nine assists. He
made 9 of 11 free throws.

The Sixers held Walker to 33.3 percent shooting in their first two matchups

too good to stop.

scoring 38 points on 13 of 15 shooting in the first quarter Friday vs. the
Jazz, the Sixers put up 42 in Charlotte.

first-half rotations — Embiid always plays the first five or so minutes
before being taken out. In each of his first three games, Butler has played
approximately the first eight minutes of the game and the last eight minutes
of the half.

early three-point shots. There is again an argument to be made that Brown
should have diverted from his typical plan against the Hornets and stuck with
Embiid, given the big man’s great opening stint.

occasion, it’s just not worth it in November.
但是以这季的状况来讲其实没必要在特别去增加 Embiid 比赛前期的上场时间，经过前几
个赛季因为伤病史的考量对他的上场时间有严格的控管，本季 Embiid 的上场时间已经是
联盟最久的了（588分钟），所以即使让 Embiid 多上场几分钟队球队有明显的帮助，以
目前来看是没有必要的。
‧ Speaking of minutes restrictions —With the Sixers on the second night of
a back-to-back, Wilson Chandler was limited to 12 minutes, all in the second
half. Mike Muscala started in his place.
讨论到上场时间限制，在 back-to-back 的第二场比赛 Wilson Chandler 被限制在 12

While Muscala only had six points, this was one of his better defensive games
of the season. He acquitted himself reasonably well when switched onto the
Hornets’ guards.

个人感觉Brett Brown每场调度像是全都是赛前决定好 临场不灵活

推楼上说法真的有点像XD但可能也跟球团的数据分析团队有讨论过？

Brown就跟Popovich一样只信任自己事前的设计，完全不管已经要被打爆了之类的状况

西门的罚球真的值得鼓励

西门失常罚进太多

教练不止上场时间固定，连轮替上来的人做的事都一样，富儿子顶替西门的时间在场上的跑位跟西门一模一样，完全没给富特定的战术或进攻模式。

推～调度轮换还有战术真的要再弹性变通一下

Brown只学到Pop的皮毛吧 口袋有的东西差太多了

popo可以给的临时战术多很多

Pop是现役最伟大教练耶 Brown只能算略高于平均吧

真的，西门和儿子PG的跑位几乎是一样的，PG带球过半场传给弧顶中锋，中锋双手持球，射手跑来和中锋手递手传球顺便中锋掩护… 几乎每球都大致上这么打…

总觉得太阳jj 76人要不要去问看看拿tjm 或许在加个选秀权去试试他如果能来76人阵容就算完整红屌也可以回替补，不然今天看到tjm坐在那看着很痛苦，而太阳jj也在这季得不到关爱，今天还在下场时闹脾气，或许可以试看看。

我们后面还有一个Zhaire要养 应该对太阳JJ兴趣不高…放个马后炮一下 当初大桥没换掉的话阵容好像更漂亮？

看能不能交易青赛教练比较实际

太阳JJ上季尾声打得不错啊 而且他天花板很高比较搞不懂他们有了JJ,Warren 又弄Ariza, Bridges来卡同样位子做什么 难怪时间都不够分 不爽正常

青赛现在也有他们难处要玩，jj如果能盘到，要过东区就更容易，史密斯，还是从替补吧，jj现在也算在低点，而tjm也因要练儿子而失宠，两只互换也算互补，而换大桥那个我想最大重点是那支不受保护首轮签，太阳都示好不换就是猪头了!!

他本来选前就有听说脾气控管稍微不好一些的确以目前盘来JB后阵容来看 有完成度较高的Bridges应该会比较好 但那时候没人知道后面会发生的事

Brand现在的补强重点首要应该还是以射手为优先

太阳报价TJM都只出二轮了，怎么可能会让你换JJ呢？而且他不是因为上场时间发脾气.....，倒是Ariza应该可以补一下七六人失去Roco的位置，不过配平就是另一个问题

还不如看太阳会不会买断Ariza再捡比较实际TJM+签换JJ感觉太浮夸

JJ上季还是基石级的怎么可能用TJ换到~

威钱加二轮换Ariza啊 应该差不多钱?还有Patton可以配平薪资

要拿JJ, 一定会被要求出Fultz
