You know what it means to be devoted to another person who is a friend, a
family member, or a romantic partner. Some of the elements include being
fair, understanding, tolerant, and assuming the best of their partner. Being
devoted to a mission is much the same. You may have a mission that you are
thinking of giving up on - even though you were once devoted to it. You need
to revive that devotion by being more tolerant and understanding, being fair
in how you deal with it, and in always assuming that the best will be.
